Dear Moab Giants Visitors,

Coronavirus is poised to disrupt the everyday lives of millions of Americans. For more than 5 years, Moab Giants has lived by a core value to take care of our visitors, members, guests and employees. This enduring value guides us as we face the difficult challenge of responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic last Wednesday.

With the Coronavirus-dominated news, we wanted to contact you and let you know that we are improving protocols to ensure your safety and meet the needs of all our customers and staff.

Moab Giants is committed to both your personal and visiting wellbeing as you face concerns and uncertainty surrounding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). We are closely monitoring information, following the advice and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and federal, state and local health agencies to help ensure we are taking appropriate actions in this evolving situation of slowing the spread of the virus. We are also communicating regularly with our employees to keep them informed and to ensure their safety and that of our customers.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, our local community, and our federal, state and local governments who are on the front line working to contain this coronavirus. Please know that we are vigilantly monitoring the COVID-19 situation around the clock and have precautions in place to ensure a healthy visit at our Moab Giants Dinosaur Park & Museum.  I want to thank you in advance for putting your trust in Moab Giants as you plan for future visits of our Park. Below is an update on what we are doing, keeping your safety top of mind.

As this situation rapidly evolves, we know there is an atmosphere of uncertainty as travelers wonder if they should change their plans. Thats why, starting today, Moab Giants will feature alerts for our destination.

We are making changes to our opening hours, making changes in service or even temporarily closing. We are making daily updates to the information on our site to keep our visitors informed.

We hope this helps you and your family in making decisions during your travel plans.

In addition to the actions we are taking, here are some steps you might take related to your visit in our Park:

The measures that we have implemented are the following:

• We have improved our already comprehensive Park cleaning and sanitizing techniques. Specifically, we have implemented additional disinfection techniques in places where people touch such as door handles, touch screens, 3D Glasses and other surfaces.

• We are cleaning our facilities and counters frequently with recommended disinfectant products and we encourage all employees of the importance of frequent hand washing.

• We are going to leave as much as possible internal doors open, so people dont have to touch door handles;

• We are closing temporarily till the further notice our top floor of the view tower which holds binocular.

• We are canceling the use of the Dino Carts.

• We will be utilizing our take away window in the Café to avoid any lines and crowd in our café interior space. We have supplied additional tables outside of our café for your safety.

Our café is very happy to offer take away service of any menu items.

• We strongly encourage the use of our sanitizing hand stations around the Park.

• Our 3D Theater is restricted for only 10 seats at a time.

 • Our 5D Aquarium is going to be open to self-guiding tour with provided information limited to 10 visitors in time.
